Metropolis Magazine featured Pullman Market in May 2025, examining how the market ties sustainable agriculture to the design of the space that holds it.
The project preserves the existing structure and shell of the historic Samuels Glass building — keeping tons of material out of local landfills — while infilling between structural elements to create the light-filled patios that pull visitors in from the Pearl.
Inside, bakers, butchers, baristas, chefs and fishmongers work in view. Materials, graphics, lighting, architecture and branding converge to make distinct moments throughout, each celebrating the bounty of Texas.
